A Unique Dating Profile
People who use online dating are probably used to seeing all sorts of strange and interesting concepts on people's profiles. However, this one is unique in an entirely different way. This woman went onto her online profile and wrote that she is literally just looking for someone who is willing to give her physical therapy for free. Either she is really desperate for some physical therapy or she is just entitled.
It would be interesting to know if she found anyone who was willing to do this. There were probably quite a few men who offered their services, even though they were not physical therapists.
Looking for a Very Specific Free Bike
Here is the prime example of the phrase "beggars can't be choosers". This person doesn't want to spend money on a bike and yet he wants one. That is a normal sentiment until you see that he is very particular about the type of bike that he wants and won't settle for just any bike. If he was really so desperate for a bike he would be happy with anything anyone would offer.
The craziest part about this is that the person does not even really need the bike, it is more just for the fun and fitness aspects. It's hard to find sympathy here.
Sweeten the Deal
What is the height of laziness? This person's correspondence surrounding a game that they wanted to purchase online is probably the perfect definition of it. Someone was giving away a game entirely for free and they were lucky enough to be on the receiving end. Instead of being grateful that they could get a free game, they were trying to get even more out of the situation and asking the person to drop it off for them!
They actually thought that it would be ok to ask the person donating the game to "sweeten the deal" as if getting a game entirely for free was not enough.
That Escalated Quickly
This person was doing some online shopping for some toner when they found a product that they were looking for. The price was already quite low and listed at $10 for two packages. However, the seller was flexible and agreed to the negotiated price of $5 for both. Instead of just counting their blessings, they went even further and asked in the next sentence if they would give them away for free entirely.
You can only assume that the person never responded or just laughed at the person's question. They already offered to go half-price for these, why did they have to ask for even more?
The Wrong Way to Negotiate
There is nothing wrong with trying to negotiate the price of an item, however, there is a proper way to do it. This man wanted to buy a camera online from a lady who was selling it for $75. Instead of offering the full amount, he started out with a $40 offer. When she refused, he then lowered the offer to $30. Confused, the woman again refused and tried to explain that this is not how negotiations work.
The man didn't seem to get the point and then tried yet another negotiation, offering $15 for the camera and a date with himself. It makes sense that the woman didn't even bother to respond.
Time for Some Phone Negotiations
It can be pretty difficult to be stuck without a phone at these times. People are so accustomed to having the world at their fingers at all times that it is hard to imagine life without a mobile device. This person's phone just broke and was in the market for a new one. He contacted this person who was selling their old phone and offered a ridiculously low amount for it, while also trying to guilt them into taking that amount.
When the person (understandably) refused the very low offer, the person lost their temper entirely and started cursing the person out angrily.
Just Asking for Stuff for Free
Now, this may come across as pretty entitled, but it is actually an entire form of marketing nowadays. From the looks of it, Andy Dick seems to have a pretty large social media following and they decided to offer to promote companies for free if they received free products or stays. Many people require payment for these types of promotions, so when you think about it, this actually is a decent offer.
If they do not have a large social media following and they are just trying to get things for free then this is a bit problematic and they do not come across looking so great.
Shamelessly Asking for the Password
Some people really know no shame. This person someone got into another game user's account and was using it for a year and a half without them knowing and without having to pay for it. It seems that the person finally changed their password though, leaving the man locked out of the account. He had no shame in messaging them the full story and asking for the password to continue using the account for free.
Why couldn't he have asked to split the costs of the account if he really wanted to continue to use it? Why should the person pay for both of them?
Complaining That There Is No Sugar
Imagine seeing a stand set up on the side of the road by random people who decided to give away essential products for free to those in need. There are cookies and flour and toilet paper, along with canned goods and peanut butter. However, instead of being grateful for everything these people were offering, some people were annoyed by the things that were lacking from the table of free goods.
They actually had the audacity to complain that the table didn't have sugar and to post about it on social media. Do they not have any shame at all?
A Drone for Christmas
There is no shame in trying to get a good deal for an expensive product and usually, there is no harm in asking. However, some people take things a little too far with their attempted negotiations and haggling. This person was asking a very low price for a used drone, offering only $100. The seller politely declined the offer and the person started to claim that it was for their son for Christmas.
When the person still refused the offer, despite the guilting, all hell broke loose. The seller was accused of being a Grinch and called obscene words out of anger. His response, however, was calm, cool, and collected.
Free Tickets for No Longer Being Deaf
People have come up with all sorts of excuses and ideas to try to get free tickets to events, but this one is perhaps the most unique and interesting of them all. These people made up a story that a deaf friend was able to hear again after seeing a picture of Post Malone. She was so determined to hear his voice that she was able to get her hearing back from pure will.
As a result of this crazy story, they then thought that it would make sense to ask for free tickets to the concert. Somehow they thought they had a chance.
It Looks Like He Doesn't Really Need Help
Some people really have no limits to their shamelessness. This man stands outside each and every day with a sign asking for help or money from every passerby. However, it looks like he is not actually as desperate as he is making himself out to seem. He was offered a full time job with good pay but refused it saying that he "makes more money than anyone else doing what he is doing".
At least someone is holding him accountable for his actions and telling people that their money is being wasted on this perfectly capable man who is just refusing to get a job to support himself.
Say No to Funky Grits!
This one is more comical than it is sad. This person is clearly enraged that this restaurant was closed on the day that they tried to visit for the first time. It was the same day as the State Fair so it was a legitimate reason, but that didn't seem to matter. They were livid that this store had the audacity to be closed on the same day that they wanted to visit.
The funniest part about this is the response from one of the commenters mentioning that they had over a year since the store was opened to try it out. They just chose poor timing!
A Job Is Not a Financial Miracle
Imagine seeing yourself as so desperate for an income that you are ready to post online that you "need a financial miracle". You write that your bills are incredibly high and you don't have a job. You even top it off by saying that you are running out of things to sell. And then someone comments that they have a job opening at their company. What would be the normal response?
This person went on to claim that they didn't want to work at this person's company, but didn't write why. Maybe they thought they were too good for whatever this personn did.
Trying to Get Work for Free
There is no shortage of people who try to get things for free or for far below market value. After all, who wouldn't love to get things for free in life? However, that's just not how life works unfortunately and people need to be paid for the work or products that they provide. This man was in the market for a new logo for their company and instead of paying the graphic designer, he tried to have him do it for free.
He claimed that it would be "an honor" for the graphic designer to create the logo for his company, even though the company is virtually unknown.
They Should Make It Themselves Then
There seems to be no limit to the number of entitled people who are out there. This person was shopping for a specific canvas from an artist that they liked. They contacted the artist and asked if they have the specific canvas they were looking for. The artist replied kindly, even offering to create a personalized one for the person. However, the true colors of the "buyer" were soon shown.
They weren't looking to buy at all and wanted it to be given to them for free. They even insulted the artist at the end by saying it was so simple they could make it themselves.
A Free Coffee Is Not Good Enough for Some
Most people who look at this sign would think that this is a really nice idea on the side of Starbucks as they are offering free coffee to all first responders and medical providers. However, for some people, this was not quite enough. They thought that free coffee was too little and that they should receive everything that they want for free. Have you ever seen a clearer example of an entitled person?
This is definitely not how all people think and there were probably so many people who were incredibly grateful for this lovely offer on the side of Starbucks.
He Just Wanted Money
Can you imagine reaching out to a friend that you haven't spoken to in a long time with a request for money? That alone seems strange enough, but perhaps if things were really tight and you were really in need, it could be understood. However, this person didn't want to ask for a loan that would be repaid, he just wanted to ask for a handout...some money that he would never have to pay back.
Rightfully so, his friend, who he hadn't talked to in a long time, decided that this was not a good idea and refused to just give money to someone who had no intentions of paying it back.
It's a Good Price
The funniest part about entitled people is that they truly have no idea most of the time that they are entitled at all. They think that their actions are totally justified and they deserve everything in life. This person started off the negotiation by offering an actual price for this used laptop, but soon abandoned that entirely and started begging for the person to give it to them entirely for free.
The seller ended up getting a little snarky in the end and joked that maybe they should pay the person to take the laptop off of their hands, rather than be paid for it.
Looking for a Free Bass Guitarist
This person posted online that they were looking for someone who can help them write a bass guitar line for them in their latest song. They are not skilled enough to do it themselves and they needed some expert advice. Someone offered to do it for $100, which is a pretty good price considering. Instead of creating a counter offer, this person simply rejected the idea of paying anyone at all.
They even claimed that they would be able to buy a bass guitar for the same price and learn how to play it themselves. All of this rather than just paying for a service.
They Tried to Negotiate $2
Sometimes you have to just admit in life that the price that is listed is a reasonable and fair price and just pay it. Maybe people are used to constantly arguing about the price of something, but when you see the price listed as $2, you should understand that it probably isn't going to get any lower. Why would you even try to get lower than $2, unless you are buying something in bulk?
It would be funny to see how the person ended up responding to this comment. The seller was clearly not amused at the concept of negotiating the price down from $2.
Donations for a New Apartment
It's very understandable that someone would want to ask for some help in furnishing a new apartment. It can be expensive to buy all new things for a new place and no one wants to dish out all that money at once. However, this person was a bit overly particular in what they wanted to get for free. They wrote out a long list of color-specific items and even said that they won't use something else.
They decided exactly how they wanted to decorate the house and even got it down to the colors and fabrics that they were looking for...and they expected to get it all for free.
They Want a Commission for Free
It seems like someone does not quite understand the concept of a commission. They had the nerve to send an email to someone that they "would like to have a free commission". They then go on to talk about how unnecessary this item is and yet how they still expect to receive it. They seem so proud of themselves for following the "rules" listed in the requirements, but they forgot about the basic "rule" to pay somsone.
The saddest part about this entitled person is that they do not even ask nicely for the piece, they simply demand it and fully expect to receive it.
They Didn't Want to Pay for Pictures
This conversation is disturbing but also comical at the same time. This person reached out to a photographer asking how much it would cost to get pictures done for her birthday with a few friends. When the photographer responded with her rates, her tone became quite harsh and she even said "don't text me ever again". The photographer was rightfully confused only to learn that the person didn't want to pay for "a few little clicks".
They could have easily just told the person that this was out of their budget, but instead, they went on to attack the photographer's work, claiming that it was easy and not worth their money.
He Just Needs a Boat
Besides coming across as very entitled, this also is extremely suspicious. Firstly, this person wants a boat that will take them five kilometers out to sea and then just leave him there. Secondly, he doesn't want to pay for it. The person with the boat license seems to realize how strange this request was and decided to decline the tempting and strange offer without even asking any questions at all.
It seems like it would be hard to be presented with such a strange offer as this and not even ask any questions. There are so many questions that should be asked here!
They Just Took off a 5
This person was looking for an Apple iMac and saw the price of it online and decided to just drop one of the digits in a hope to pay less for it. Maybe they thought that the person wouldn't notice if they got rid of one of the numbers, or maybe they actually thought they had a chance. The seller quickly put them in their place though and told them they were not interested.
Why would someone be interested in accepting an offer from someone that is just 10% of what they were asking for, especially for such a popular item as this?
They Have No Funds to Buy It
This person was shopping for something or another online and came across what they were looking for. Well, shopping is a loose term as they were really looking for free items. They contacted someone to ask if the item was still available and when they responded yes, just downright asked them for the item for free. They admitted to having no funds to pay for it and hoped that they could just be gifted the item.
They tried to use pity to get this person interested in giving them the item by playing the emotional card. They wrote that they should give it to them from "their huge heart" and even "drop it off".
Just Because They Were Cool
It's sad that some people think that just because they are friends with someone they are not required to pay the full price for things. Just as this vendor says, why can't it be the opposite? Just because you are friends with someone they pay you the full price for your work and also pay a tip. That would be a nice change once in a while, now wouldn't it?
It would be interesting to see what this person responds to the comment that this seller makes. Are they willing to pay the full, normal price for the work?
Take It or Leave It
This person was looking for a desk to buy online and they found one that they were interested in. Instead of offering a normal price and negotiating reasonably, they decided to offer a very low price for the already inexpensive table. Both sides of this negotiation were pretty strict, however, and there wasn't much wiggle room from the $40 price tag. In the end, they decided to just part ways.
The person was probably successful in selling the table elsewhere for something that was closer to the price that he was asking. It was a pretty reasonable price after all.
When Charging a Fee Is Conceited?
It can be difficult to find the right tattoo artist to give you the perfect tattoo. After all, it is something that will be on your body for the rest of your life, so you should consider your choice carefully. This person reached out to someone to design a tattoo for them but then was shocked by the need to pay them for it. Instead of simply refusing to pay (which would have been bad enough), they even became very rude.
They went on to verbally attack them, claiming that they were terrible and unqualified artists. If they thought so, then why did they reach out to them in the first place?
$6 Was Not Enough for Him
There is no limit to the shocking behavior of people. Sometimes people surprise you for good and other times for the worst. This homeless person saw someone reaching into their wallet to give them some money. There were multiple bills involved, some larger than others. When he saw that the person was giving a smaller bill he demanded that they actually give him the large bill instead and put back the "small change".
Most people, at that point, would simply put away all the money and refuse to give the person anything at all. No one owes them anything!
Trying to Get a Free Meal on a Date
It's no secret that some people date with the sole intention of getting a free meal out of it. However, most people are not so obvious in their attempts and they try to make it seem like they are also interested in actually meeting a person. This person made zero attempts at niceties and simply told the person that if they are not going out for food, they do not want to go out.
The other person on the date tried to make it clear that they were still interested in meeting up even though they just ate something, however, without the Korean BBQ, there would be no date!
The Price to Date Her
This is most definitely a very unique idea, but it seems like it is an issue that this girl has come across quite often in her dating history and so she wants to set things straight right from the beginning. She lists out all the different expenses that she expects her partner to pay for while they are dating, including hair, nails, shopping, utilities, rent, and even miscellaneous spending money.
At least she is very upfront about her costs and requirements in dating. It is better to get these sorts of things out in the air before you get into a relationship and the arguments start.
They Won't Pay for a Play Place for the Children
Parenting is expensive, there's no doubt about it. Sometimes it can be difficult to afford all the things that your children want and need in their lives. These parents were not ready or willing to spend any money on a play place for their children and they were looking for one that they could get for free. To top things off, they even had very specific requirements about how they would like it to be made.
The comments here are the best as someone makes it seem like they are offering their services for free, but it is actually the phone number for Lowe's.
Exactly the Same, Brian
It's funny sometimes that people have the nerve to just message someone shamelessly and request their services, not offering any payment at all. They do not even seem ashamed of themselves for hinting that someone does not deserve to be paid for their work. This person's response was so spot on when they brought it back to them and asked what they did for a living and if they would be willing to do it for free.
The person was shocked and did not know how to respond. They even said that "this is not the same" even though it is exactly the same, just they do not value the other person's work.
